| The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) operates out of the Superfund Project Office in Kellogg. DEQ is part of the team involved in the cleanup efforts within the Coeur d’Alene Basin Superfund Site. The work involves remediating residential and commercial properties and rights-of-ways as part of the Basin Property Remediation Program. DEQ also cleans up mine and mill sites and other areas contaminated with wastes generated by mining activities. |
